Xochicalco's Light and Sound Show

The spectacular pre-Hispanic city of Xochicalco, located 24 miles southwest of Cuernavaca in the Mexican state of Morelos, is best known for its richly adorned Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent and for its award-winning onsite museum. Now there is another reason to visit this fascinating archaeological site. From December 2005 through April 2006, a sound and light show will be staged at Xochicalo every Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. You will be able to see these myterious ruins bathed in multicolored lights for 150 pesos (about $15 U.S.) per person. Contact the Morelos Secretariat of Tourism for more information.
